Site: Hong Kong, North Point
The installation consists of two parts. The first part involves engaging with the local community to collect oral history and memories of North Point. Local stores, schools, members of the public will be invited to participate in workshops to allow participants to use objects collected in the neighbourhood to create scenes that can be projected through a shadowbox.
The second part involves the projection of these scenes in an open theatre happening at the Pavilion. These engagement activities not only help explore and promote the cultural history of North Point, but they also allow visitors to engage in the neighbourhood and potentially lead to dialogues between different generations.
