The SZ HK Innovation delta provides a new approach to science campus design, basing on deep research on the scientists and their daily needs. To empower scientists we proposed an optimized balance between high end working spaces and factors that could enhance well-being and productivity. By doing so, the campus becomes an innovation delta, a natural ecosystem but also a fireproof working space. A place for Life and Science in perfect synergy.
In terms of the urban framework, the campus is formulated by different attributes and there are in total three thematic corridors connected by the main street. Each of the corridors is strongly driven by a specific program for the campus users, including sports, food production and culture.
Shared service is introduced to the road network, blurring the hierarchy between vehicles, bikers and pedestrians. The shared service connects the different users and is strongly formulated by the fluid groundscape.
